Which is better a wide screen monitor or just a regular one?

Im in the market for a new monitor and im really liking the 20 inch wide(or bigger) screen, but could you tell me some pros and cons of both kinds of monitors if there are any. Thanks.

Wide screen man!!! much more place on your desktop, better view and its prooved that its more relaxing for the eyes if its wide… ! now all the movies are starting to be on Wide-screen … hell even you tube… life will get wide screened…lol. I bought a wide-screen 3 weeks ago and Im really pleased with it.. I think you should go with the wide screen — you wont REGRET
